How the Penalty Fees Work :
UGI Electric charges several fees monthly or non-recurring basis. These are the following fees that you have to pay:
- Returned Check Fee: If your payment check is returned by the banking institutions, you have to pay the returned check fees. For the returned check fees, you have to pay $5.
- Reconnection Fee: If your service is disconnected, then you have to pay the reconnection fees. For the reconnection during normal hours, you have to pay $28. For the after-hours reconnection, you have to pay $108.
- Late Payment Fee: If you cannot make the payment for your utility bill by the due date, you have to pay the late payment fees. For the late payment fees, you will be charged 1.25% of the past due amount.
